Honeymoon Registry
Ever since we combined households, our home has been more than well-stocked in most material aspects (three coffee makers?). With that in mind, we are offering our friends and family a honeymoon registry in addition to a small, traditional gift registry at Macy's (registered under Kristin Bentrem or Mark Pfaff).
The honeymoon registry is a fairly new concept which works like a normal registry, except that instead of sheets and coffee makers, we have registered for hotel rooms, transportation, and activities. Several websites and travel agencies provide this service for a fee, but www.honeyfund.com provides the basics for free (though there are advertisements on most pages, which you can ignore.)
They help manage the list of gifts so people don't buy the same thing twice, but they don't handle your money - that is safely handled on your own via check/cash unless you prefer to use a credit card, in which case the gift is deposited directly into Mark's PayPal account (for a small fee).
